Cleveland Clinic Florida is South Florida's #1 Hospital five years in a row and a top health system in Florida, according to U.S. News & World Report.

A Top Health System in the Florida Region

Once again, Cleveland Clinic Florida has been recognized for outstanding care in the Florida region. Weston Hospital ranked No. 1 in the Miami-Fort Lauderdale metro area, according to U.S. News & World Report’s “2022-23 Best Hospitals” rankings.

Overall, Weston Hospital ranked No. 5 in the state of Florida. Indian River Hospital tied for No. 18 and Martin Health tied for No. 31.

South Florida's No. 1 Hospital

It is the fifth consecutive year that Cleveland Clinic Weston Hospital has earned the top ranking from U.S. News & World Report — making it the only hospital to be ranked No. 1 for five straight years in South Florida.

The Weston Hospital’s Gastroenterology and GI Surgery Program received national recognition as well, ranking 37th in the United States. It is the seventh consecutive year as the only program in South Florida to be nationally ranked.

In addition, four specialties in Weston were ranked “high performing”, including Geriatrics, Neurology & Neurosurgery, Orthopaedics and Pulmonology & Lung Surgery. Weston also earned recognition for 12 common procedures and conditions and was rated “high performing” in:

  • Aortic Valve Surgery.
  • Back Surgery (spinal fusion).
  • Colon Cancer Surgery.
  • Heart Attack.
  • Heart Bypass Surgery.
  • Heart Failure.
  • Hip Replacement.
  • Kidney Failure.
  • Knee Replacement.

  • Prostate Cancer.
  • Stroke.

On the Treasure Coast, Martin Health and Indian River Hospital were recognized by U.S. News for providing high-quality specialty care.

Cleveland Clinic Martin Health tied for 31st out of approximately 180 evaluated facilities across the state of Florida and ranked high performing in seven procedures and conditions, including:

  • Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.
  • Colon Cancer Surgery.
  • Diabetes.
  • Heart Attack.
  • Heart Failure.
  • Kidney Failure.
  • Stroke.

Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital ranked 18th of approximately 180 evaluated facilities across the state of Florida and was recognized as high performing in eight procedures and conditions, including:
