Empathy and Value Every Person Lecture Series

Empathy and Value Every Person Lecture Series

Beloved retired staff member Anthony Thomas, Jr., MD, died November 2017. Dr. Thomas was a world-renowned infertility expert and an influential and respected member of our Bioethics team.

In memory of Dr. Thomas’s way of valuing every person with whom he came into contact, the Office of Patient Experience has established this new lecture series. Through his everyday actions, Dr. Thomas demonstrated a deep commitment to encouraging others to reflect on their roles in healthcare and to support each person he met. He was a consummate clinician, mentor, professional and kind human being.
