NATURE/NURTURE

May 11 to Sept. 30, 2022
Julia and Larry Pollock Gallery
Cleveland Clinic main campus

Research has shown that viewing a serene landscape can mitigate anger, fear and stress. Artwork featuring nature figures prominently in Cleveland Clinic’s art collection. Because of its healing properties, the artwork functions as a portal, inviting you to step into the work and immerse yourself in the landscape. Featuring recent acquisitions and donations, Nature/Nurture showcases the many ways that artists use earth and sky to capture the imagination.

FRONT International 2022

Miller Pavilion Patrick F. McCartan Centennial Gallery
Julia and Larry Pollock Gallery

Cleveland Clinic is proud to be a presenting partner of FRONT International's second edition of the contemporary art exhibition that spreads across northeast Ohio this summer. FRONT is an exhibition of the art of today by some of the most talked-about artists of our time. Many of the works were created especially for this show and for the spaces and places in which they appear. Cleveland Clinic features a permanent installation by Jacolby Satterwhite outside of the BioRepository at East 79th St and Cedar Ave; a temporary video installation by Lenka Clayton & Phillip Andrew Lewis inside the Miller Family Pavilion; and a year-long calendar by Karl Martens in the Julia and Larry Pollock Gallery. Additionally, Case Western Reserve University hosts several events and artists' projects in the Samson Pavilion at Health Education Campus of CWRU and Cleveland Clinic.
