Cleveland Clinic’s Body Donation program began many decades ago, and donations to the program have increased steadily ever since. Donated bodies are used most often to teach anatomy to first-year medical students so this increase in donations is significant since Cleveland Clinic first established its Lerner College of Medicine in 2002.

Without these generous donations, our medical students, as well as our residents and staff physicians, would not be able to gain crucial knowledge that helps to extend or save the lives of others.
